Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to information controlled by Paon Bleu Inc. through BOUSOL. A separate company may control information it collects directly through its own product or service.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use BOUSOL, we may collect:
- Identity and contact information, such as your name, date of birth, address, email address, telephone number, government identification, photograph, and information used to verify your identity.
- Wallet and transaction information, such as wallet addresses, balances, transfers, deposits, withdrawals, Sòl participation, contribution schedules, recipients, and transaction status.
- Financial and payment information needed to fund or cash out an eligible transaction. A payment or cash-access provider may collect additional information directly from you.
- Device and technical information, such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, language, identifiers, crash data, and security events.
- Communications and support information you provide when you contact us, complete a survey, or report a problem.
- Information received from service providers, identity-verification services, blockchain networks, compliance vendors, and cash-access or payment partners.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Create, maintain, and secure your BOUSOL account and wallet.
- Verify identity, assess eligibility, prevent fraud, manage risk, and comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
- Process and display transactions, contributions, payouts, transfers, and supported cash-access requests.
- Operate Sòl features and show members the information needed to coordinate a circle.
- Provide support, send service and security notices, and respond to your requests.
- Improve BOUSOL, troubleshoot technical issues, measure performance, and develop new features.
- Protect our users, partners, rights, property, services, and the public.
3. How we share information
We may share information with service providers and partners that help us operate BOUSOL, including identity-verification, fraud-prevention, cloud-hosting, analytics, communications, payment, settlement, and cash-access providers. We may also share information with members of your Sòl when it is necessary to show participation, contribution status, schedules, and payouts.
We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or when necessary to protect BOUSOL, our users, our partners, or others. If BOUSOL or Paon Bleu Inc. is involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell personal information for money.
4. Blockchain and transaction visibility
Some BOUSOL services use public blockchain infrastructure. Blockchain records can include wallet addresses, transaction amounts, timestamps, and other transaction data. Information recorded on a public blockchain may be visible to others and may not be changed or deleted by BOUSOL. Avoid placing personal information in transaction notes or other public fields.
5. Our infrastructure partners
BOUSOL connects with third-party infrastructure and service providers. Those providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies when you use their services. Availability and the providers involved can vary by market and transaction. BOUSOL is responsible for its own privacy practices, not the independent practices of another company.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide BOUSOL, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and meet legal, accounting, compliance, and reporting requirements. Retention periods vary based on the information, service, market, and applicable law.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system, transmission, wallet, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Protect your device, credentials, recovery information, and authentication methods, and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or transaction-record purposes. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.
You can manage certain notifications and permissions through your device or app settings. Disabling a required permission may limit a BOUSOL feature.
9. International processing
BOUSOL supports people and communities across borders. Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate measures designed to protect information when it is transferred internationally.
10. Children
BOUSOL is not directed to children under 18, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child who is not eligible to use the service. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to BOUSOL.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as BOUSOL, our partners, or applicable requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. We may provide additional notice when a change is material or when required by law.
